Felipe Munera, MD

Felipe Munera, MD, is a professor of radiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami Health System (UHealth), Jackson Memorial Hospital and Ryder Trauma Center. Dr. Munera is board certified in diagnostic radiology and is fellowship trained in body imaging and emergency and trauma radiology. He is the division director of ER/trauma radiology (previously vice chair of clinical operations) and is currently serving as vice chair of strategy and expansion in the Department of Radiology.

Christian Perez, MD, MSc

Christian Perez, MD, MSc, has 25 years of experience in the public and private Chilean health care system. His focus areas include emergency radiology, diagnostic and interventional radiology, health management and education. As a past president and member of the Sociedad Chilena de Radiologia (SOCHRADI), Dr. Perez is interested in strengthening relationships between radiologists and the proper integration of AI.

Christine Cooky O. Menias, MD

Christine Cooky O. Menias, MD, is a professor of radiology in the abdominal radiology section at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, Arizona, U.S., as well as a consultant in the Department of Radiology and Department of Surgery. Dr. Menias joined Mayo Clinic in 2013 and she is the former chair of the Division of Abdominal Imaging.

Her clinical focus is geared toward patient-centered care and she is a recognized leader in the field of abdominal imaging, with special interests in oncologic, transplant, gynecologic and emergency radiology.

Dr. Menias has received numerous educator awards. She was most recently awarded the Society of Abdominal Radiology’s 2023 Gold Medal, the highest recognition given by the Society. Currently, she serves as the first female editor-in-chief of RadioGraphics, the leading educational journal for diagnostic radiology, and she splits her time between Mayo Clinic and the journal.

Krystal Archer-Arroyo, MD

Krystal Archer-Arroyo, MD, is an associate professor in the division of emergency and trauma imaging in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the Emory University School of Medicine.

She joined the faculty at Emory University in August 2017 and her clinical roles include the director of critical event preparedness and response for the Department of Radiology, as well as the clinical site director for emergency and trauma imaging and the ACS trauma liaison at Grady Memorial Hospital, where she also serves as the interim associate chief of radiology.

Dr. Archer-Arroyo has a passion for emergency radiology education. In addition to speaking at many national and international meetings, she serves on several committees with the American Society of Emergency Radiology and RSNA. Her research interests include the use of dual-energy in the trauma setting.

Santiago Medina, MD, MPH

Santiago Medina, MD, MPH, joined Miami Nicklaus Children's Hospital as a neuroradiologist and pediatric radiologist in 1999 and he is the director of the division of neuroradiology and the associate director of the Department of Radiology. Dr. Medina is also a clinical professor of radiology at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, U.S.

Dr. Medina’s medical training includes a medical and surgical internship in Medellin General Hospital, Colombia, a radiology residency at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology – Washington University Medical Center in Missouri, U.S., a pediatric radiology fellowship and a neuroradiology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and the affiliated Harvard Medical School Hospitals in Massachusetts, U.S.

Dr. Medina is an expert on evidence-based imaging and he has been the editor of a series of books in that area for more than 20 years.
