Creating and Optimizing the Research Enterprise (CORE)
In this 1½-day workshop, held every other year, you will learn how to develop or expand research programs in radiology, radiation oncology or nuclear medicine. Through presentations, case studies and group discussions, you'll gain valuable insights into how to generate the facilities, resources and services needed to conduct high-quality research in academic departments. Participants will also learn important techniques to encourage colleagues to explore innovative ideas through research.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Radiology Research Teams
- Starting and Maintaining a Research Core
- Operating Research Cores, including Recovering after Adversities (like pandemics)
This workshop is intended for radiology chairs, vice chairs for research; researchers and research administrators from departments of radiology, radiation oncology and nuclear medicine; and radiology faculty/clinicians interested in learning more about radiology research.
The next CORE workshop will take place in 2023. We'll update this page when 2023 course dates are available.
