Program/Schedule

Where can I find the meeting program and how do I search for specific sessions?
Starting November 1, you may visit Meeting Central and view the full meeting program. To search for specific sessions, select “Program” from the navigation bar at the top of the page and choose from the available search options or use the search bar to search by keyword, topic or subspecialty. 
What is an on-demand session and how can I access them?
On-demand sessions are posted within 24 hours after the live session and can be viewed at your convenience. 100% of eligible content is available for all Virtual Meeting participants on-demand until April 30, 2022. To find an on-demand session, visit Meeting Central, select “Program” from the navigation bar at the top of the page, and use the available search options or the search bar to locate your session.
How do I access Case of the Day?

Case of the Day is presented electronically in the Learning Center and accessible for Virtual Meeting registrants on Meeting Central. Each day of the live meeting, Sunday through Wednesday, a new case in each of 15 categories will be displayed.

Attendees may submit a diagnosis for each case at nearby internet stations, on the electronic presentation system or via any web browser at Meeting Central. For each correct diagnosis submitted, attendees will receive 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

 
Where can I find the education exhibits and digital posters?

Over 2,500 science and education digital posters, education exhibits in backboard panel format, and quality improvement reports all describing successful radiology quality initiatives are on display in the Learning Center, Lakeside Center East, Level 3.

Select science presentations and select education exhibits are available for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Authors will be present in the Learning Center on assigned days to discuss their findings. Visit Meeting Central to view the schedule.

Education exhibits and science posters are available at any time during the meeting for self-study. Digital presentations are available for 24-hour viewing by Virtual Meeting registrants on Meeting Central.

 
What time are the plenary sessions and how can I watch them?
The President’s Address and Opening Session will be held on Sunday, November 28, from 4-5 PM Central Time (CT). Plenary sessions are featured daily throughout the week. Information on the Plenary Sessions can be viewed through Meeting Central or on our Programming Page. Most plenary sessions can also be accessed on-demand during the live meeting week and on-demand through April 30, 2022.
How do I clear my filters on the search page?
Click the “Clear Filters” button, located next to the Search bar in the filter menu.
How can I interact with presenters during sessions?
There is a group chat function on-screen in the Virtual Meeting during all livestreamed sessions to engage with speakers and other meeting attendees.

Technical Exhibition

Where is the Technical Exhibition and what does it include?
The Technical Exhibition can be found in North Hall B, Level 3 and South Hall A, Level 3 at McCormick Place. It is open Sunday to Wednesday, 10 AM–5 PM Central Time. Walk the floor of the world’s largest medical imaging exhibition and visit with more than 500 leading manufacturers, suppliers and developers. Be sure to review the exhibitor list on Meeting Central to see which companies are joining us this year. You can find the RSNA Virtual Exhibition by clicking Exhibitors in the top navigation bar of Meeting Central. The RSNA 2021 Technical Exhibits also includes the popular AI Showcase and over 200 industry presentations such as Lunch & Learns, Product Demonstrations and Theater Presentations. 
Where can I find the Industry Presentations?
There are several hybrid and virtual-only presentations and booths from select companies who are ready to engage with attendees through our virtual platform. Refer to our Industry Program at Meeting Central for a listing of these companies and events. You can also join us in the Virtual Exhibitor Lounge near the First-Time Exhibitor Pavilion in South Hall A, Level 3 to find information about our virtual exhibitors, use QR codes to quickly access their online listings and connect with them virtually. 
How can I find the RSNA AI Theater presentations?
The RSNA AI Theater, located in the South Hall, Booth 5147, is where you can explore the hottest topics in AI, machine learning and deep learning with daily industry presentations from 42 companies. Presentations run Sunday through Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 3:45 PM. Four special RSNA presentations will occur on select days from 4–5 PM Visit Meeting Central for the most up-to-date schedule.
Where can I find product demonstrations?
Product demonstrations are happening throughout the Technical Exhibition in a variety of places. Refer to the Technical Exhibit Guide for a schedule of events. To access the schedule online, visit Meeting Central and select “Exhibition” from the navigation menu at the top of the page. Interactive demo and group chat features are available through Meeting Central to help you discover products and services, make valuable connections, and network with and learn more about our exhibitors participating in-person/virtual (hybrid) and virtually only.
Where can I find the AI Showcase and what does it include?
The AI Showcase is located in the Technical Exhibits, South Hall A, Level 3, starting at Booth 4129. It’s the central hub for all things related to AI and the premier place for educators, researchers, health care professionals and exhibitors to experience the latest in AI and machine learning in radiology. Connect with nearly 100 companies delivering next-level AI software, product demonstrations and solutions. 
How do I find a specific exhibitor?

The complete RSNA 2021 Technical Exhibitor List is available online at Meeting Central. Browse a comprehensive list of exhibitors and their products or services. Search by exhibitor name or type, product categories or exhibit area, and use our interactive floor plans to quickly locate exhibitor booths.

New this year! My Show Planner – All RSNA 2021 attendees can access a handy new tool to help optimize searching and networking online. Use My Show Planner to create an agenda and find and save exhibitors, products, exhibitor collateral, industry sessions and exhibitor contacts. Use it to plan and to easily find and save meeting content that you can access through April 30, 2022.

 
What other special areas are there in the Technical Exhibits?

NEW! Virtual Exhibitor Lounge:  Make your way to South Hall A, Booth 4112 to this unique lounge to enjoy comfortable seating and recharge your devices while you relax and engage with exhibitors who were unable to travel to Chicago. You’ll find virtual exhibitor information and QR codes that will quickly take you to their online listings so you can learn more about their products and services and connect with them virtually.

Innovation Theater: 
South Hall A, Booth 4108 Join us for 15-minute live presentations of the latest imaging innovations from exhibiting companies. Presentations will take place in this open-air theater Monday and Tuesday from 10:30 AM to 3:45 PM. For additional details, see the Exhibitor List at Meeting.RSNA.org.

3D Printing & Mixed Reality Showcase: North Hall B, starting at Booth 8100 is where you can interact with the latest 3D medical printing and augmented and virtual reality technologies. 

First-Time Exhibitor Pavilion: We are welcoming over 20 new exhibitors to RSNA 2021 in South Hall A, starting at Booth 4100. Meet these newcomers and see what they have to offer.

Educators Row: Connect with representatives from educational institutions and leading medical associations from around the world in South Hall A, starting at Booth 1000. Shop for educational publications and professional services addressing virtually every aspect of medical imaging.

Recruiters Row: South Hall A, starting at Booth 1118 is where you can connect with organizations offering career opportunities and meet with prospective employers who are on hand.

The RSNA professional Photo Studio is open Sunday – Wednesday, 10 AM to 5 PM; stop by and get your complimentary professional head shot. Photos will be optimized for use on LinkedIn, CVs and other digital distribution and will be emailed to you.

 
How do I request a meeting with a sponsor or exhibitor?
Visit the RSNA 2021 meeting site, click “Meet with Exhibitors” under the Networking tab. On our affiliate website, Map Your Show, search for the company to schedule a meeting. 
Where can I find the listing of Lunch and Learns and how can I sign up?
Participate in midday panel discussions, demonstrations and lectures with company leaders and medical professionals. Lunch & Learn sessions are held in-person and all are available on demand through April 30, 2022. Search for Lunch & Learns on Meeting Central. Select “Program” from the navigation bar at the top of the page. Then use the “Industry Presentations” button to filter for the Lunch & Learn sessions.
How can I sign up for a corporate symposium?
There’s no need to register! You can find the schedule in the Industry Presentations agenda.
Can I contact exhibitors/view their booths after December 1?
To connect with an exhibitor after December 1, please visit their exhibitor profile page. Visit the RSNA 2021 meeting site, click “Meet with Exhibitors” under the Networking tab. On our affiliate website, Map Your Show, search for the company and click “Drop a Business Card” or visit their website directly.
During what hours are the exhibit staff available?
Exhibit staff are available 10 AM to 5 PM Central Time (CT) from Sunday, November 28 to Wednesday, December 1. The virtual exhibits are available 24-hours a day for on-demand viewing, networking and scheduling meetings, and the complete Virtual Exhibition is available on demand through April 30, 2022.

Registration

How can I register or upgrade for RSNA 2021?
Register or upgrade your registration online by visiting RSNA.org/Register. Members can register for the in-person meeting for $100. Virtual access can be added to any registration package for an additional fee, providing access to on-demand programming through April 30, 2022. 
Can I be connected to live help?

Yes. Please contact us between the hours of 7 AM and 6 PM Central Time (CT) at annualmeeting@rsna.org or call 1-630-571-2670 (outside the U.S. and Canada) or 1-800-381-6660 (U.S. and Canada only). You can also connect to us through the online chat feature of Meeting Central.

Customer support pre and post RSNA 2021 is 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM CT. 

I need my confirmation email.
After you’ve finished the registration process, please check your email. We’ll send you a registration confirmation with your receipt and additional information about the meeting.
How can members of the press register?
Media credentials for RSNA 2021 are available only to members of the working press who can furnish proof that their attendance results in news coverage. Please visit the online press room at RSNA.org/press21 for media guidelines and information on registering.
Can I get a refund for my registration fees?
No. RSNA's cancellation and refund policy states that refund requests received after October 30 will neither be accepted nor refunded. 
Do I need to pay a registration fee to get virtual access to RSNA 2021?
Yes. All participants who want to view the RSNA 2021 virtual education and science programming must register for virtual access. Visit RSNA.org/Register to view add virtual access to your registration package.

All RSNA 2021 registrants can access industry programming online.
 
Is there a way to "reassign" a meeting to a fellow representative or colleague?
No, name changes are not allowed. New registration and payment, if applicable, are required for registration. Registrations are non-transferable.
What is the registration cancellation/refund policy?

RSNA's cancellation and refund policy states: 

Name changes are not allowed. New registration and payment are required. Registrations are non-transferable. Refund requests received after October 30 will neither be accepted nor refunded. No refunds will be issued for registration packages purchased and not used. RSNA 5k Fun Run fees and R&E Foundation donations are tax deductible and benefit the R&E Foundation. All Fun Run fees and donations are non-refundable.

 

General Q&A

What are the meeting hours?

The RSNA 2021 live meeting will run from 8 AM–6 PM Central Time (CT) Sunday, November 28 through Thursday, December 2. Additional on-demand content will be available 24 hours per day. The Learning Center and Connections Center are open Sunday–Thursday from 7:30 AM–6 PM.

The Technical Exhibits are open Sunday, November 28 through Wednesday, December 1 from 10 AM–5 PM and is located in North Hall B and South Hall A. 

 
What time zone does the meeting occur in?
RSNA 2021 occurs in Central Time (CT). 
Where do I pick up my badge?

Badges can be picked up at the following locations:
South Building – Level 1 Room S100

Friday 8 AM–4:30 PM
Saturday – Thursday 7 AM–5 PM

Lakeside Center East Building, Level 2, Hall E
Saturday–Thursday 7 AM–5 PM

Please note that all attendees must be fully vaccinated and will need to stop at a Health & Safety Checkpoint prior to badge pickup. A valid photo ID and vaccine validation are required.

 
How do I validate my vaccine?
RSNA 2021 participants are encouraged to complete their validation in advance via one of two free platforms. US attendees who received an FDA approved vaccine may validate their vaccine through the CLEAR app. Those outside of the U.S., or who received a WHO approved vaccine may register using the Safe Expo web portal. Detailed instructions can be found on the RSNA Health & Safety page
I lost my badge. Can I get another one?
Any registrant who loses or forgets a badge will incur a $50 fee for any additional badge reprints.
Where can I find my login information?

Attendees: If you completed the registration process, you can use your RSNA username and password to begin your RSNA 2021 experience.

If you need assistance locating your RSNA username and password, please contact us at annualmeeting@rsna.org or call 1-630-571-2670 (outside the U.S. and Canada) or 1-800-381-6660 (U.S. and Canada only). You may use the Forgot Password tool on RSNA.org.

Exhibitors: If you completed the registration process, you can use your Registration ID and email to begin your RSNA 2021 experience. If you need assistance locating your Registration ID, please click Forgot Registration ID to have your confirmation resent. If you are not registered for RSNA 2021, please contact your primary company contact to register. To learn your company contact, email exhibits@rsna.org.

 
What if I can't make a live session?
All eligible live programming will be available on demand after the session has ended for RSNA 2021 registrants with Virtual Access. Extended on-demand access to all meeting content after the live meeting week is also available. Attendees can add Virtual Access to their registration by visiting RSNA.org/Register
I'm an RSNA member. Am I automatically registered for RSNA 2021?
No, even though registration is included with your membership (for those who registered before October 1), you must still register for RSNA 2021. It only takes a few minutes and you’ll get a confirmation email once your registration has been confirmed.

Is there an RSNA 2021 meeting app?
No, there is no mobile meeting app this year. Meeting Central is mobile optimized for your convenience.
Will there be concurrent sessions during the meeting?
Yes, featured programming runs concurrently Sunday, November 28 - Thursday, December 2. At any given time there may be multiple sessions available for you to choose. 
Can I share my login information with other members of my team?
In order to have access to the full RSNA 2021 experience—including opportunities for a personalized certificate of attendance and credit claiming—please do not share your registration credentials with others. Know someone who would still like to register? Send them to RSNA.org/Register
How early do I need to sign on to a virtual session?
Virtual participants may join a session up to 15 minutes early.

CME + Certificates

How long will attendees be able to access the RSNA 2021 meeting site to view courses?
Attendees with Virtual Access will be able to access available RSNA 2021 courses through April 30, 2022.
Where can I access my certificate of attendance?
To access your certificate of attendance, select the certificate of attendance button on the registration resources page by logging into RSNA.org/Register.
Accreditation Statement

RSNA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

  • Educational Courses and Science Sessions
  • Scientific Poster Discussions
  • Correctly diagnosing each Case of the Day
 
AMA Credit Designation Statement

RSNA designates this Other activity (blended live and enduring material) for a maximum of 465 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Can international attendees earn CME credit?

CME credits may be transferable.

  • Australia and New Zealand: RSNA is an authorized CPD provider
  • Canada: AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ can be converted to Royal College MOC credits
  • Mexico: All AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are transferable
  • Europe: Due to an agreement of mutual recognition, the UEMS European Accreditation Council will convert AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to EACCME European CME Credits (ECMECs). For more information, contact the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) at info@uems.net or visit UEMS.net or EACCME.eu.
  • Worldwide: CME claimed at RSNA 2021 may be transferable. Contact the CME governing body in your home country for details.
 
Can exhibitors claim CME?

CME credit is not tracked or awarded to exhibitor registrants. Exhibitor personnel who wish to obtain CME credit must register as a professional attendee.

How will CAMPEP credit for physicists be recorded?

The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) has approved the direct transfer of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to MPCEC on a credit-for-credit basis for medical physicists.

Will RSNA offer credit to American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)/American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT)?
The RSNA 2021 program was approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, an ARRT®-approved Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism Plus (RCEEM+), for appropriate ARRT Category A+ credit.

ARRT Category A+ credit is only available for the live in-person meeting. Credits are not available for Virtual Meeting participants. 
How do I claim ARRT Continuing Education Credits?

In order to record and obtain Category A+ continuing education (CE) credits, all ARRT-registered radiologic technologists and radiologist assistants must follow ARRT guidelines. Failure to do so will result in no credits being awarded.

  • ARRT requires that all registrants seeking A+ credit must be present and attentive for 50 minutes of every scheduled hour of a live CE activity. If you arrive late, leave early or slip out of the meeting room for a break, that time is deducted from your attendance.
  • ARRT registrants will be required to scan their badge in and out of each educational session. Registrants will not receive ARRT credit for the session if they do not scan their badge in and out of the session.
  • Sessions will automatically be added to their attendance record within 24 hours of the event.
  • Partial credit is not available to ARRT attendees.
  • In addition to ARRT requirements, you must evaluate your RSNA 2021 courses online at Meeting Central.
  • In mid-December, RSNA will email certificates to ARRT-registered radiologic technologists and radiologist assistants who requested a certificate during registration and followed these ARRT guidelines. 

Please contact the RSNA CME Office at cmeoffice@rsna.org for any issues related to RSNA 2021 badge attendance validation for ARRT credit approved courses.

 
Can I claim SAMs course credit during RSNA 2021?
RSNA will not be offering SAM credit during RSNA 2021. However, members are encouraged to view and complete SA-CME credit using RSNA's Online Learning Center.
Where can I find the CME credit claiming website?
During the week of the live meeting, sessions viewed virtually and sessions into which in-person attendees scan, will be automatically added to their attendance record within 24 hours after the meeting. Visit Meeting Central to access the credit claiming site to search, select and evaluate your own sessions and to adjust the time spent in each session.
What’s new about this year’s credit claim process?

The credit claiming process has changed for RSNA 2021. Please note the following changes:

  • Evaluations are no longer required – they are optional for the overall meeting and individual sessions.
  • The credit claim site is easily accessed from Meeting Central.
  • Registrants have the flexibility to attend and claim partial credits for multiple, live sessions held at the same time.
  • Virtual Meeting registrants can maintain extended access beyond the week of the live meeting, through April 30, 2022, to view and earn additional on-demand credits.
  • After April 30, 2022, no additional revisions to transcripts will be allowed; however, attendees will maintain access to the credit claiming site through April 30, 2023, in order to print their certificate of attendance and credit certificate.

The RSNA 2021 credit claiming site is designed for self-service. Registrants will be able to:

  • Review and adjust credit for education sessions attended.
  • Complete evaluations and provide valuable feedback to RSNA.
  • Print/save credit certificate and certificate of attendance at any time. 
 
Are my viewed sessions automatically added to my record?
During the week of the live meeting, viewed sessions will be automatically added to your attendee record within 24 hours of the event. You can also access the credit claiming site to search, select your own sessions and adjust time spent in each session. 
Can I get partial credit for attending a portion of session?
Yes; attendees can adjust their own credit and attend multiple sessions offered at the same time. 
Can I claim credit for submitting diagnoses to Case of the Day?

Where can I print CME transcripts from prior RSNA annual meetings?

RSNA members can log into their account and check their record in the CME Repository for all finalized credit claims from prior RSNA annual meetings. If you still have questions about credit earned at those meetings, you can contact annualmeeting@rsna.org.

Networking

How do I use the Virtual Networking platform?

Go to Meeting Central and choose “Networking” from the navigation bar at the top of the page. There you will see a drop-down menu and can choose to connect with attendees or with exhibitors.

If you choose “Attendees” you will access a listing of attendees who have opted-in to chat communication. You can also search for and connect with specific attendees.

If you choose “Exhibitors” you will access our Technical Exhibition page and can search for and connect with exhibiting companies there. 

 
How can I manage my Virtual Networking profile?
Go to Meeting Central and log into your account. In the Settings menu, you may choose to participate in Networking.
Is there an open chat/forum?
There is no open chat forum. However, Virtual Meeting registrants can use the chat function during livestreamed sessions to chat with other meeting participants.
Will networking be available after December 2?
No, virtual networking is only offered during the live meeting week Sunday, November 28–Thursday, December 2, 2021. 
Are there networking and events during RSNA 2021?
Yes, there are a variety of ways to connect with other attendees and can be found on Meeting Central by filtering by Meeting Extras. Participate in the 5k Fun Run, visit one of the four photo spots throughout McCormick Place or enjoy the variety of entertainment in the Connections Center Discovery Theater.

Can I add sessions to my calendar?
Yes! Starting on November 1, you may add sessions to your agenda and begin planning your week. All sessions held Sunday, November 28 - Saturday, December 2 may be added to your personal calendar via the ‘add to calendar’ feature.
How do I download all the Digital Posters?
Sorry, you are unable to download the Digital Posters.
What is the recommended browser?
Google Chrome is the recommended browser. Download Chrome for PC or Mac at Google.com/chrome.  
Can I get virtual access on my phone?
Yes, it is possible, but to optimize your viewing experience we suggest you access RSNA 2021 on a laptop or tablet. 
How do I report inappropriate behavior?
Please email annualmeeting@rsna.org.
In what language will technical support be available?
The official language of RSNA 2021 is English, but limited translation assistance is available.  Visit either of our Information Desks for additional information or assistance.

Things to do

Can I still register for the virtual 5k Fun Run?
Yes! Registration for the virtual 5k Fun Run is open through Monday, November 29. Visit the Fun Run Desk on Level 2.5 at McCormick Place on Sunday, November 28 and Monday, November 29 from 7:30 AM–5 PM to register, receive location information and get your t-shirt. For more information and to register, visit RSNA.org/annual-meeting/preparing-for-the-meeting/5k-fun-run.

 

Will a winner be awarded for the 5k Fun Run this year?
Yes, winners will be posted on RSNA.org/FunRun on Tuesday afternoon and featured in Daily Bulletin.
Can I get a refund for the Fun Run?
The 5k Fun Run fees and R&E Foundation donations are tax deductible and benefit the RSNA Research & Education (R&E) Foundation. All Fun Run fees and donations are non-refundable.
Are there any entertainment sessions?
Yes, there will be a variety of musical entertainment this year at the Discovery Theater in the Connections Center and throughout McCormick Place. View the schedule in the printed Meeting Guide or by clicking “Meeting Extras” in Meeting Central
Is there a way to purchase RSNA merchandise?
Yes, a limited number of RSNA items can be purchased at the Information Desk in the Connections Center throughout the week, while supplies last!  
Are there any wellness sessions?
Yes, we have chair yoga sessions and wellness presentations in the Discovery Theater this year; search Meeting Central for specifics. In addition, the Zen Zone is a space dedicated to relaxation and recharging and includes lounge seating, yoga mats for meditation or self-guided yoga, aroma therapy and meditative music. Visit room N230A Sunday–Thursday, 7 AM–6 PM.

Who can I contact if I have a question about my industry presentation or company’s booth?
Please contact exhibits@rsna.org.
Will the Virtual Exhibition be available after the live show ends?
Yes, all industry programming and the complete Virtual Exhibition are available to all attendees (both in-person and virtual) on demand through April 30, 2022. 
How can I network with potential customers?
Meeting attendees can connect with exhibitors through Meeting Central or by visiting an exhibitor booth. Exhibitors cannot initiate contact with attendees through the Meeting Central platform.

Health & Safety

What safety protocols are in place during RSNA 2021?

Are masks required during RSNA 2021?
Faces masks are required in all public indoor spaces, including RSNA-provided shuttle buses, Metra trains, rideshares, etc., regardless of the status of mask mandates in the City of Chicago. Masks must fully cover your nose, mouth and chin. We recommend cloth or disposable masks; gaiters or bandanas will not be allowed.
I need a COVID test for my return flight. Where can I get one?

Safe Expo is providing onsite COVID-19 testing via walk-in or by appointment at McCormick Place, North Building, Level 1, Room N140.

Rapid tests are available for attendees who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms as well as those who require a negative test to travel or return to work.
