How will CAMPEP credit for physicists be recorded?

The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) has approved the direct transfer of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to MPCEC on a credit-for-credit basis for medical physicists.

CAMPEP registrants will be required to scan their badge for each educational session. Registrants will not receive CAMPEP credit for a session if they do not scan their badge.

Will RSNA offer credit to American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)/American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT)?

Select courses within the RSNA 2022 program have been approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, an ARRT®-approved Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism Plus (RCEEM+), for appropriate ARRT Category A+ credit.

Not all in-person sessions are eligible for ARRT credit. Please check Meeting Central or the RSNA 2022 meeting app to determine if a course is eligible for ARRT credit.

Note: Virtual sessions are not eligible for ARRT credit.

How do I claim ARRT Continuing Education Credits?

In order to record and obtain Category A+ continuing education (CE) credits, all ARRT-registered radiologic technologists and radiologist assistants must follow ARRT guidelines. Failure to do so will result in no credits being awarded.

  • ARRT requires that all registrants seeking A+ credit must be present and attentive for 50 minutes of every scheduled hour of a live CE activity. If you arrive late, leave early or slip out of the meeting room for a break, that time is deducted from your attendance.
  • ARRT registrants will be required to scan their badge in and out of each educational session. Registrants will not receive ARRT credit for the session if they do not scan their badge in and out of the session.
  • Sessions will automatically be added to their attendance record within 24 hours of the event and ARRT attendees will not be able to modify their credits.
  • Partial credit is not available to ARRT attendees.
  • In addition to ARRT requirements, we encourage ARRT registrants to evaluate their RSNA 2022 courses online using Meeting Central.
  • In mid-December, RSNA will email certificates to ARRT-registered radiologic technologists and radiologist assistants who requested a certificate during registration and followed these ARRT guidelines.

Please contact the RSNA CME Office at cmeoffice@rsna.org for any issues related to RSNA 2022 badge attendance validation for ARRT credit approved courses.

Staff are available at the Information Desks to assist with claiming credit. Visit Meeting Central or the RSNA 2022 meeting app to determine if a course is eligible for ARRT credit.

At this point in time, masks are not required in most locations or on public transportation in Chicago. However, local recommendations and guidelines are subject to change. Please continue to check our health and safety page for the latest updates.
