The impact of these seemingly innocuous statements can affect both physical and mental health, especially over the course of a career.
Be an ally by noticing and responding to microaggressions and be aware of your own speech and biases. Microaggressions affect everyone, so work hard to help create more inclusive and culturally aware workplace culture.
