RSNA R3 Program Seeks Representatives for 2020-2021 Academic Year

Residency programs select a liaison between RSNA and other residents at their institution

Program Coordinators and Program Directors of radiology residency programs are asked to submit names for the RSNA Resident Representative (R3) program by May 1.  Program Coordinators and Directors can identify one RSNA Resident Representative to participate.

R3 participants will share RSNA resources with their peers, including a monthly resident-focused RSNA e-newsletter that includes information for exclusive resident-focused events and opportunities. They are also encouraged to attend the annual meeting, where they can network with members of the RSNA Resident and Fellows Committee (RFC) and RSNA leadership.  Their names are also showcased in the Residents Lounge during the annual meeting.

The R3 program is open to all radiology residency programs to help residents make meaningful connections and learn about the RSNA resources that support their professional growth. The R3 program was developed by the RFC to keep residents aware of and engaged in RSNA activities.

To qualify a resident must be entering their second year of a radiology residency as of July 1, 2020.  Selected individuals will serve as an R3 for the upcoming academic year. New RSNA Resident Representatives will begin their terms on July 1, 2020 and serve until June 30, 2021.
