In a year like no other, RSNA held a meeting like no other

A first-ever all virtual event, RSNA 2020 offered a full week of world-class programming to attendees across the globe. Not able to gather in Chicago, attendees stayed connected through social media, posting pictures of kids, pets, Chicago and RSNA favorites like the 5K Fun Run (held virtually).

RSNA President James P. Borgstede, MD, kicked off the virtual meeting with an inspiring President’s Address.

Attendees posted images of their favorite Chicago foods that they were missing in 2020.

Elainea Smith, MD, shared a post on social media of her dog exhausted after a full day of RSNA 2020 programming.

Several attendees posted nostalgic pictures of their previous annual meeting badges.

In response to her request for photos of the cities where attendees were participating in RSNA 2020, Mary C. Mahoney, MD, RSNA president for 2021, received an outpouring of images.

RSNA Board member Carolyn C. Meltzer, MD, shared this unique image to encourage attendees to keep in touch virtually during RSNA 2020.

Participants from around the world shared images on social media when they completed the R&E Foundation's 5K Fun Run.
