RSNA 2018: Snapshots from the Inspiring Meeting

Kicking off the week of RSNA 2018 with her president’s address, Vijay M. Rao, MD, urged attendees to embrace technology such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, which will transform the practice of radiology for the benefit of both patients and health care.

The vast array of the latest technology featured in the Technical Exhibits Hall was a huge draw for attendees.

Attendees flocked to the Discovery Theater for a full line-up of informative programming and a wide array of entertainment. The theater was a big hit in the Connections Center which was a hub of activity throughout the week.

Residents and fellows put their skills to the test in the Radiology Escape Room, a new activity in the Residents Lounge.

Colorful 3D models were among the attractions in the new 3D Printing & Advanced Visualization Showcase featuring the latest in 3D printing, virtual reality and augmented reality.
