Applications Open for 2021 RSNA Global Learning Center

Deadline is July 31 for eligible host countries

RSNA is accepting applications from eligible host countries to be considered as the site of the 2021 Global Learning Center (GLC).

GLCs are designed to expand radiology education opportunities around the world. RSNA seeks to partner with established radiology departments based in low- or middle-income countries to create a GLC and improve its department through education.

Stellenbosch University in South Africa was selected as the 2020 GLC.

Over a three-year period, a team of RSNA members will work with the GLC to develop a customized educational plan including a curriculum with in-person, hands-on training, didactic lectures (virtual and in-person), conferences, online courses and other education offerings.

Based on the needs of the applicant institution, equipment and technical assistance will also be provided.

Applications are also open for team member volunteers who will work in close consultation with the radiology department at the GLC to design and present an educational plan using RSNA educational resources.

After the 2021 GLC is selected, a team of up to four RSNA volunteers will be chosen to match the needs of the GLC. RSNA team members will travel up to twice yearly to the GLC to learn about the host site’s educational needs, and present lectures, hands‐on training and point‐of‐care opportunities.
