RSNA Hosts Webinar About the RSNA-ACR 3D Printing Registry

Webinar will focus on case examples and data entry

RSNA will host a 60-minute webinar entitled, “The RSNA-ACR 3D Printing Registry: Case Examples and Data Entry.” The webinar will be held on Tuesday, July 14 at 11 a.m. (CST).

A joint effort between RSNA and the American College of Radiology (ACR), the RSNA-ACR 3D Printing Registry is a medical 3D printing clinical data registry to collect 3D printing data at the point of clinical care. It was established to gain evidence towards Category I CPT codes for medical 3D printing and to demonstrate the clinical value of 3D printing, which has been challenging to date because of the rich diversity of clinical indications, the different technologies for generating physical models from medical images and the complexity of the models. The RSNA-ACR 3D Printing Registry is now accepting submissions.

The focus of this webinar will be to provide clinical case examples of 3D printing and to demonstrate how data entry for these cases is performed on the ACR NRDR site. The webinar will conclude with an interactive question-and-answer session.

The webinar will be moderated by Kenneth C. Wang, MD, PhD,  MRI section chief at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and an adjunct assistant professor of diagnostic radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UM), both in Baltimore. Also participating in the webinar will be Amy E. Alexander, BME, MSc, Division of Informatics, Department of Radiology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN and Nicole Wake, PhD, Department of Radiology, Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY and the Center for Advanced Imaging Innovation and Research, Department of Radiology, NYU Langone Health, New York, NY.

Registration is required for this webinar.
