RSNA 2017 Honorary Memberships to be Presented to Gharbi, Mendonça and Riklund
Honorary members recognized for significant achievements in the field of radiology
Hassen A. Gharbi, MD, PhD, Renato Adam Mendonça, MD, PhD, and Katrine Riklund, MD, PhD, will be presented Honorary Memberships during Monday afternoon’s plenary session, Monday, Nov. 27 at 1:30 p.m. in the Arie Crown Theater.
Dr. Gharbi will be recognized for his work in pediatric radiology in Tunisia and throughout northern Africa. He is credited with introducing ultrasonography in Tunisia and his research on ultrasound classification of the hydatid cyst remains an important resource to radiologists around the world. Dr. Mendonça will be recognized for his leadership in strengthening radiologic education throughout South America and for his guidance in connecting international radiologic organizations to facilitate collaboration. Learn more about Dr. Mendonça >>
