In Person & Virtual Access

The In Person & Virtual Access package delivers the most complete way to experience RSNA 2026, combining full in-person participation with virtual access.

What's included: In-person access to eligible programming and Technical Exhibits at McCormick Place; Virtual access to six live-streamed plenary sessions in the Arie Crown Theater; Access to digital posters; Recordings of plenary, education, science and industry sessions through Feb. 26, 2027, 12 p.m. CT.

The In Person Only package provides meeting attendance at McCormick Place for non-members.

Technical Exhibits Only

The Technical Exhibits Only package provides full access to the North and South Exhibit Halls at McCormick Place.

The Technical Exhibits Pass does not include access to educational programming. 

Virtual Access Only

The Virtual Access Only package provides live-streamed and on-demand access to RSNA 2026 sessions.

What's included: Virtual access to six live-streamed plenary sessions in the Arie Crown Theater; Access to digital posters; Recordings of plenary, education, science and industry sessions through Feb. 26, 2027, 12 p.m. CT.

Session recordings will be available to view within three hours of their scheduled start time.

Please note: Digital poster access is included with all registration packages except Technical Exhibits Only. Eligible registrants can view digital posters during and after the meeting through the end of the Virtual Access period.

Media credentials for RSNA 2026 are available only to members of the working press who can furnish proof that their attendance results in news coverage. Please visit the online press room at RSNA.org/press26 for media guidelines and information on registering.

Yes. Groups of two or more may take advantage of RSNA’s convenient group badge registration service and use one form of payment or multiple.

Please note: RSNA’s group badge registration is a convenience service. Group discounts are not available.

No. RSNA 2026 registration does not include travel expenses, meals, hotel accommodations or social events.

Registrations are non-transferable—a new registration and payment are required for all attendees. If your plans change, you can request a refund of your registration fees by sending a written cancellation to RSNA@maritz.com. To receive a refund (minus a $50 administrative fee), your request must be received by Oct. 30, 2026. RSNA is unable to issue refunds for any cancellations received after Oct. 30, and registrations made after this date will be non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued for registration packages that were purchased but not used.

Our cancellation and refund policy applies to additional registration items purchased, including RSNA Labs and conference extras, including Bistro RSNA tickets and RSNA After Dark tickets. Please note that the 5k Fun Run fees and RSNA R&E Foundation donations are tax-deductible and benefit the R&E Foundation. All Fun Run fees and donations are non-refundable.

Yes. Non-member registration categories of student, resident/trainee and medical imaging professional require verification to be processed. Badge classification is subject to RSNA approval and category or rate change. These categories require a business card, a letter from hospital administration stating your role in radiology, a valid RT license or student ID copy. Document upload is required during online registration. If verification qualifies you for a different registration category, the registration will automatically be reclassified and you will be charged the appropriate fee.

Registration is subject to cancellation if verification is not provided within five business days after registration.

Yes. To uphold the professional and educational standards of the RSNA annual meeting, children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the exhibit halls or sessions and are not eligible to receive a badge.

All attendees must pick up their badges and meeting materials onsite at designated areas throughout McCormick Place and special hotel satellite desks. A valid photo ID is required. Find more details on our Onsite Services page.

No, guest badges are not available. However, spouses, family members or guests may accompany a professional registrant by registering in the appropriate category: Other (Non-Physician/Non-Industry).

The "Other" category includes attendees who:

• Do not meet the criteria for professional radiology registration
• Are not physicians
• Are not industry employees, vendors, exhibitors or commercial representatives

In the event you lose or forget your badge, a $50 fee will be applied for any badge reprints. This reprint fee applies to all registrants. A valid photo ID is required.

No. Your badge is non-transferable and must be worn/displayed at all times while at McCormick Place. Misuse or misrepresentation of your badge is strictly prohibited. Government-issued ID may be requested to verify identity.

Your badge is essential for your time at RSNA. Your badge is required to enter all sessions, meeting locations and the Technical Exhibits. Scans of your badge allow for easier CME notation and for exhibitors to capture, upon request, the contact and demographic information you provided at registration.

RSNA 2026 programming begins at 9 a.m. CT on Sunday, Nov. 29, and runs through Thursday Dec. 3, concluding at 4 p.m. CT.

The Technical Exhibits are open Sunday, Nov. 29 through Wednesday, Dec. 2. from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT.

RSNA upholds the highest standards of quality, accuracy and integrity across all education and science programming. AI disclosures help attendees understand when AI-assisted tools substantially contributed to the creation of presentation materials such as images, graphics, charts or other content.

This requirement supports transparency and aligns with guidance from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Presenters remain responsible for ensuring AI-assisted content is accurate, scientifically valid and appropriately reviewed before it is presented.

No. AI may be used as a tool to assist with certain aspects of content creation, but presenters are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-assisted materials before they are presented.

No. Routine uses of AI for minor editing tasks, such as grammar correction, formatting assistance or language refinement generally do not require disclosure when the presenter maintains full control and review of the final content.

Yes! The RSNA 2026 meeting will be available to download in the App Store and Google Play closer to the date of the annual meeting.

Yes! There will be a variety of social and networking events, including the RSNA 2026 Welcome Reception and RSNA After Dark, and NEW! RSNA Conversations. The complete schedule of events will be available closer to the date of the annual meeting.

Please be respectful to the presenter and the audience — do not take personal photographs or video recordings in meeting rooms or the Learning Center.

RSNA uses photography and video recording throughout McCormick Place during RSNA 2026. By registering, you acknowledge the possibility of being photographed or filmed and give RSNA consent to use your image for future marketing or promotional purposes.

Ribbons will be available for self-service pickup during the annual meeting at Meeting Information & Member Services in the Connections Center. The Connections Center is in Lakeside Center East, Level 3.

McCormick Place is a smoke-free facility. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes/vaping devices, is not permitted anywhere inside the buildings. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor smoking areas located around the McCormick Place campus.

Yes, featured programming runs concurrently Sunday, Nov. 29 through Thursday, Dec. 3. At any given time, there are multiple sessions available for you to choose between.

Adding courses to your agenda will not reserve your seat and select industry sessions require an RSVP. For most courses, seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis; no physical tickets will be issued. Present your badge at the door and it will be scanned for admittance. Check if a session offers CME by visiting the session catalog in Meeting Central or in the meeting app.

Case of the Day is presented electronically in the Learning Center and accessible on Meeting Central and in the meeting app. Each day, Sunday through Thursday, a new case in each of 20 categories will be displayed with multi-choice format for answering. Attendees may submit a diagnosis for each case at nearby internet stations, on the electronic presentation system, on Meeting Central or in the meeting app. For each correct diagnosis submitted, attendees will receive 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Case of the Day discussion slides are available for review on Meeting Central. Answers will be emailed the following day.

Plenary session information is located in the Session Catalog on Meeting Central. Plenary sessions are available to watch live and on demand for eligible registrants.

Over 3,500 science and education digital and hardcopy presentations, along with quality improvement reports, will be on display in the Learning Center, Lakeside Center East, Level 3. Authors of scientific posters and quality improvement reports will be present in the Learning Center on assigned days to discuss their findings. Education exhibits, scientific posters and quality improvement reports will be available at any time during the meeting for self-study.

Meeting Central is a digital platform you can use to browse the annual meeting program, explore session information, stream sessions, view the exhibitor list and find additional meeting-related information.

Meeting Central and the meeting app let you choose sessions of interest, filtering by day and type. You can also explore available networking opportunities and favorite sessions and events to build a custom schedule that is accessible before and during the meeting.

Meeting Central and the meeting app can also be used to access Digital Presentations and the Case of the Day, claim CME credit, and catch up on meeting news with the Daily Bulletin, the official daily newspaper for RSNA 2026. You can also access McCormick Place maps, transportation and dining information to help you get around and stay fueled during the meeting.

Yes. All on-demand sessions are automatically transcribed into English captions (powered by AI). This feature enhances accessibility and makes it easier to follow along with session content.

To view recorded meeting sessions, we recommend using a modern device and browser, including:

• A currently supported operating system (Windows 10/11 or a recent version of macOS).
• The latest version of Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari
• A computer with at least 8 GB of RAM
• A stable broadband internet connection of at least 5 to 10 Mbps

Devices running on unsupported operating systems, outdated browsers or with insufficient memory may experience issues such as slow playback, buffering, audio/video synchronization problems or inability to access certain content.

We recommend using a computer, tablet or smartphone capable of running the latest version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. Devices using unsupported operating systems or browsers that have not been updated in several years may not be able to access or reliably play recorded content.

To access recorded sessions, ensure your browser allows JavaScript and cookies, and that any pop-up blockers, ad blockers, privacy extensions, VPNs or corporate firewall settings are not preventing access to the meeting platform. If you experience playback issues, try using the latest version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox in a private/incognito browsing window.

Yes, there will be a variety of musical entertainment this year at the Discovery Theater in the Connections Center and throughout McCormick Place. Search the Session Catalog using the Meeting Extras filter to find entertainment sessions.

Yes, RSNA items can be purchased at the RSNA Shop in the Connections Center throughout the week, while supplies last.

We recommend a chair yoga session, the RSNA 5k Fun Run or a visit to the Zen Zone, a space dedicated to relaxation and recharging.

The Zen Zone is located in room N227A and is open Sunday through Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

During the week of the live meeting, viewed sessions will be automatically added to your attendee record within 24 hours of the event. You can also access the RSNA 2026 CME, Evaluation and Certificate Information site to search, select your own sessions and adjust time spent in each session. 

Please note: Your “CME List” will only be available until Thursday, Dec. 17, 2026, 12 p.m. CT.

The credit site is available via Meeting Central during the week of the live meeting and following the meeting. Once you’re logged in, you will then be able to search, select and evaluate your own sessions and to adjust the time spent in each session.

CME credit is not tracked or awarded to exhibitor registrants. Exhibitor personnel who wish to obtain CME credit must register as a professional attendee. 

50 sessions within the RSNA 2026 program are approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), an ARRT®-approved Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism Plus (RCEEM+), for appropriate ARRT Category A+ credit.

In order to record and obtain Category A+ continuing education (CE) credits, all ARRT-registered radiologic technologists and radiologist assistants must follow ARRT guidelines. Failure to do so will result in no credits being awarded. 

ARRT requires that all registrants seeking Category A+ credit must be present and attentive for 50 minutes of every scheduled hour of a live CE activity. If you arrive late, leave early or slip out of the meeting room for a break, that time is deducted from your attendance. 

ARRT registrants will be required to scan their badge in and out of each educational session. Registrants will not receive ARRT credit for the session if they do not scan their badge in and out of the session. 

Sessions will be automatically added to their attendee record within 24 hours of the event. 

Partial credit is not available to ARRT attendees. 

In mid-December, RSNA will email certificates to ARRT-registered radiologic technologists and radiologist assistants who requested a certificate during registration and followed these ARRT guidelines.

RSNA will not be offering SAM credit during RSNA. However, members are encouraged to view and complete SA-CME credit using RSNA's Course Catalog.

Evaluation options: Evaluations are available at both the overall meeting level and the individual session level.

Meeting-level evaluation: To complete the overall meeting evaluation, select meeting evaluation on the right side within your CME List.

Session-level evaluation: To submit a session evaluation, the session must be in your CME List. We recognize that you may wish to provide feedback even when not earning CME credit, and we encourage all attendee evaluations. If the session is not currently in your CME List, please add it and then complete the evaluation.

Yes, all attendees can claim partial credit. With one exception, radiology technologists claiming ARRT credit cannot get partial credit for attending a portion of the session. 

Yes. For each correct diagnosis submitted, attendees will receive 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Physician CME Certificate:

The Physician CME Certificate documents Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit claimed by eligible physicians.

Activities Included

A CME-eligible activity will appear on the Physician CME Certificate only if the attendee has:

• Participated through an approved attendance-tracking method:
  • Attendance scanned onsite for in-person sessions, or
  • Viewed and engaged with eligible on-demand content to support participation and activity completion
• Added the activity to their credit list, when applicable.

Record of Attendance (ROA) Certificate:

The Record of Attendance (ROA) Certificate documents participation in Annual Meeting activities and provides a comprehensive record of qualifying attended sessions. The certificate may include both CME-accredited and non-CME activities where attendance was recorded. It may be used when documentation of participation is needed for professional or institutional purposes.

Activities Included

The ROA Certificate includes all qualifying sessions attended, regardless of whether CME credit was offered.

This includes:

• CME-accredited sessions
• Non-CME educational sessions
• Other eligible meeting activities where attendance was recorded

RSNA members can log into their account and check their record in the CME Repository for all finalized credit claims from prior RSNA annual meetings. If you still have questions about credit earned at those meetings, contact annualmeeting@rsna.org.

The Technical Exhibits include more than 700 leading manufacturers, suppliers and developers and can be found in North Hall B, Level 3 and South Hall A, Level 3 at McCormick Place. The Technical Exhibits will be open Sunday, Nov. 29 to Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT.

The Technical Exhibits feature the popular AI Showcase, Innovation Theater, Industry Expert Theater, Radiology Reimagined, the First-Time Exhibitor Pavilion, Startup Showcase, product demonstrations and vendor workshops.

Attendees can network with a wide range of radiology-related companies, organizations and recruiters in academic and private practice in Recruiters Row. Plus, the Professional Portrait Studio offers free, high-quality headshots.

Yes, all industry programming and exhibitor listings will be available to all professional attendees (both in person and virtual) on demand through Feb. 26, 2027, 12 p.m. CT.

This is the central location for all things related to AI and the premier place for educators, researchers, healthcare professionals and exhibitors to experience the latest in AI and machine learning in radiology.
