Amended RSNA Bylaws will be considered and voted on during the RSNA Business Meeting on Sunday, Nov. 30, beginning at 2 p.m. during the RSNA annual meeting at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Submitted to RSNA membership by the Bylaws and Resolutions Committee, the proposed bylaw amendments create updates related to Society membership, particularly the engagement and representation of non-North American members as well as clarifications to some membership categories. The Board of Directors supported the amendments as a meaningful step in fostering a governance structure that is more inclusive of the global membership.

The Board agreed to move forward with merging the Corresponding and Active Member categories into a new category “Members,” making members residing outside of North America eligible to serve on the RSNA Board of Directors.

The proposed bylaw amendments also revise the definition of Associate members, merge the Members-in-Training and Corresponding Members-in-Training categories, and clarify the rights and privileges of Honorary Members.

The current RSNA Bylaws are available online. Contact board@rsna.org with questions or comments.
