Writing a Competitive Grant Proposal
Overview
The Writing a Competitive Grant Proposal (WCGP) workshop will provide valuable tools to help in your pursuit of funding from the federal government, foundations or societies. It is led by a faculty of researchers with extensive experience in grant applications and funding.
This is being offered as a three-part virtual workshop focusing on development of competitive grant applications, with particular emphasis on crafting strong Specific Aims. The workshop consists of two consecutive half-day live sessions followed by a third half-day session that includes a mock study section.
Participants will engage with faculty who are National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded researchers and will provide guidance on strengthening and refining grant proposals. The workshop will combine didactic instruction with interactive small-group sessions.
