RSNA demonstrates its commitment to Quality Improvement with a certificate program recognizing individuals who demonstrate knowledge in each of four quality improvement domains through participation in designated RSNA quality programs. Participants also gain knowledge in quality improvement, its significance to radiology, and best-practice quality improvement techniques.
Since the program was introduced in 2011, more than 500 Quality Essential Certificates (QECs) have been awarded. Participants who complete one of the curricula and earn 80% or higher on a related test are eligible to receive a QEC. Courses are held onsite at the RSNA Annual Meeting, and are available online through eLearn within six months of their live offering.
RSNA rewards high-achieving individuals with an ALQC for meeting the following criteria:
