RSNA 2026 Honorary Member

An international radiologist dedicated to breast imaging and proponent of excellence in education and continuous professional development in Latin America, Beatriz González Ulloa, MD, is recognized for her professionalism, leadership and commitment to patient care. She is the director of the Breast Imaging Department at Diagnóstico Especializado por Imagen in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.

“Dr. González Ulloa’s extraordinary leadership has advanced breast imaging, radiology education and professional excellence across Latin America and beyond,” said RSNA President, Jeffrey S. Klein, MD. “Her decades of service, commitment to quality and safety, and unwavering dedication to patients have inspired colleagues worldwide.”

Dr. González Ulloa is the current president of the Ibero-American Society of Breast Imaging. She is the former president of the College of Radiology and Imaging of Jalisco, the Mexican Board of Radiology and Imaging, the Mexican Federation of Radiology and Imaging, and the Interamerican College of Radiology.

She is an active member of several radiologic organizations, including the current treasurer of the International Society of Radiology (ISR). She is also the ISR executive committee representative to the ISR Quality and Safety Alliance. She previously served as advisor and examiner for the Mexican Board of Radiology and Imaging. She also previously coordinated the Breast Committee of the Mexican Federation of Radiology and Imaging.

She is a member of the Editorial Committee of the Journal of the Mexican Federation of Radiology and Imaging and the current editor of the Colegio Interamericano de Radiologia, NotiCIR monthly newsletter.

As a radiologist dedicated to breast imaging for more than three decades, Dr. González Ulloa is recognized for her professionalism, leadership and commitment to patient care. Dr. González Ulloa received the Gold Medal of the Mexican Federation of Radiology and Imaging.

She also was presented with the Radiological Merit Award from the College of Radiology and Imaging of Jalisco and from the Mexican Federation of Radiology and Imaging. Dr. González Ulloa is an Honorary Member of the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology, the European Society of Radiology and the Paulist Society of Radiology. She was also recognized by the Mexican Board of Radiology for her more than 20 years of service.
