An international speaker, author and researcher, Christine Porath, PhD, helps organizations create professional, equitable and thriving work environments.

Dr. Porath is a tenured professor at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington, DC. She is the author of Mastering Community (forthcoming), Mastering Civility: A Manifesto for the Workplace, and co-author of The Cost of Bad Behavior.

Her speaking and consulting clients include Google, United Nations, World Bank, Microsoft, Genentech, Marriott, 3M, Verizon, Ford, World Health Organization, and Cleveland Clinic. She has written for the Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, McKinsey Quarterly and The Washington Post.

Dr. Porath frequently delivers talks and has taught in executive programs at Harvard, Georgetown and University of Southern California. She has been recognized as a Top 100 Leadership Speaker and Top MBA Professors of 2017. Her work has been featured worldwide in over 1,500 television and print outlets.

She received her BA from College of the Holy Cross and her PhD from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
