This two-day, in-person course (located just 30 minutes from Chicago) refreshes skills and addresses knowledge gaps in pediatric imaging through case reviews, breakout sessions, faculty panel discussions and lectures focused on interpretation.

CME credit is available for this course, and a certificate of attendance will be awarded upon completion.
  1. Recognize the key differences between pediatric and adult imaging, including radiation safety principles, appropriate protocol selection, and developmental anatomy considerations.
  2. Identify common pediatric emergency imaging presentations and select the most appropriate modality for evaluation, with emphasis on neuro, chest, abdominal/pelvic, and musculoskeletal pathology.
  3. Perform common fluoroscopic exams in children including upper GI, lower GI and VCUG.
