Presented by RSNA and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), the RSNA/AAPM Online Physics Modules explore important physics concepts identified in the AAPM curriculum.
These self-guided modules are designed to supplement physics education during radiology residency and assist with continued self-study. Modules are not intended to be the primary or sole source of information for residents preparing for board exams.
Physics modules are available to RSNA members and AAPM members as a membership benefit. RSNA membership is free for residents and fellows.
- Basic imaging science and technology
- Radiation biology
- Radiation protection
- Projection x-ray imaging
- Computed tomography
- Magnetic resonance
- Nuclear medicine
Developed by a team that includes at least one physicist and one radiologist, the modules undergo ongoing peer review to continually improve content and quality.
