Becoming a member

How do I become a member of RSNA?
Select the appropriate category of membership (active, associate, physicist, etc.) then complete and submit an application form along with verification and payment (if applicable).

What is the procedure for membership acceptance?

Once you submit your application with payment (if applicable) and form of verification, it will be reviewed by RSNA. You will be notified within 5 working days about your application status.

How long is the membership cycle?
The membership cycle is from January 1 to December 31, regardless of your enrollment date.
How do I pay my membership dues online?
Log in to your account to pay your dues.

How do I sign up for automatic renewal?
Auto renewal makes charging your annual membership dues easy. Charges will be applied automatically in October for the upcoming year and we will email you a receipt.

Sign up for auto renewal by checking the auto renewal boxes at the bottom of the online payment page, or call RSNA membership 1-877-776-2636 (U.S. or Canada) or 1-630-571-7873 (outside U.S. or Canada) with a credit card and we will set it up for you.
Does RSNA offer group billing?
Yes! We offer group billing for institutions or groups to pay for all their doctors’ membership dues with one invoice. Contact us at for more information.

I'm still waiting to receive the print version of Radiology or RadioGraphics. Whom should I contact?

I want to receive print versions of Radiology or RadioGraphics. How do I opt in?

All North American members must annually request to receive free print journals. If your membership category does not include free print journals, there will be an additional fee upon opting in. Review the details below to find out if your category includes an additional fee.

You can opt in to print journals by using one of the following options:

  • Opt in on the renewal page. You may opt in this way even if you have already paid for your dues.
  • Email your request to An invoice will be provided if you have an added fee with your membership category.
  • Call RSNA membership at 1-877-776-2636 (in the U.S. or Canada) or 1-630-571-7873 (outside U.S. or Canada).
By what date do I have to become a member in order to receive free advance registration to the annual meeting?

Your membership application, including a form of verification and payment, must be received by September 28 in order for you to advance register for the annual meeting at the free member rate. Members can register for the annual meeting for free until October 2. The member registration rate after October 2 is $100.

How can I contact a committee member or other RSNA member?

RSNA does not distribute or release contact information of its members; however, if you are a current member you may access the online membership directory.

I'm interested in volunteering to serve on an RSNA committee. Where can I find this information?
We offer a variety of ways to get involved with RSNA. Learn more about volunteer committee opportunities or find microvolunteering opportunities that can be completed in short periods of time.

How can I notify RSNA of my change of address?

How do I log in?
To log in to your online account, you need to enter your RSNA username and password. By default, your username is your RSNA member ID and your default password is your last name (all lower case) unless you changed it.

If you have forgotten your password, reset it.
Where can I find my RSNA member ID?

Your member ID number is printed on:

  • Your dues renewal statement
  • The mailing label from your issue RadioGraphics or Radiology
