Pay It Forward: Foundation Volunteers Needed
As we look toward the months ahead, the drive to create a lasting impact remains our constant focus. At the Foundation, we see this commitment in action daily through our grantees, volunteers and donors—a community tirelessly advancing radiology and improving the lives of patients around the world.
With the 2026 grant cycle now closed, the Foundation relies on a dedicated pool of experts to maintain our gold-standard, NIH-style review process. Consider giving back in a new way this year by lending your clinical and research expertise to identify the most deserving projects of 2026. Register to volunteer or contact Keshia Osley kosley@rsna.org or 1-630-571-7816 to learn more about the Study Sections.
Some of our past and current grant recipients have paid forward their gratitude by also serving as a study section reviewer. Azadeh Tabari, MD, is one such volunteer, having received a RSNA Research Seed Grant in 2023, then going on to serve with the R&E Foundation Faculty Study Section in 2025.
“In these uncertain times, the RSNA Foundation grant I received as a junior faculty in academia, alleviated a significant burden. It did more than support a project—it affirmed my path in academic radiology and allowed me to pursue research with meaningful impact. To the donors who make this possible: your generosity is not only shaping careers, it is transforming lives.” -Azadeh Tabari MD, 2023 RSNA Research Seed Grant, 2025 Emerging Issues Grant, Grant Reviewer for the Faculty Study Section 2025
