2025 Week of Giving: Stand for Science Fundraising Event 

The R&E Foundation celebrated a Week of Giving Sept. 15 –21, in recognition of all the incredible research we have supported over the years and to rally support for the future of science. 

We raised more than $114,000, exceeding our fundraising goal and surpassing the total from last year’s Week of Giving event. In fact, by many measures, our members rallied behind us stronger than ever, and we saw engagement increase across the board! 

The total number of donors increased, more first-time donors and grant recipient donors participated, and triple the number of members created their own individual fundraising pages and received donations from colleagues or friends. 

Vivek Yedavalli, MD, MS, and Florence Chiang, MD, PhD, two past grantees, want to thank everyone who supported this year’s Week of Giving.
