The R&E Foundation is excited to write the next chapter of its storied history. Thanks to your dedicated support, the Board of Trustees was able to award over $4.7 million in grant funding at its April meeting.

Now more than ever, the Foundation’s funding, guidance and support are critical for radiology researchers and educators, and ultimately for improving patient care. With reductions in federal funding, researchers must have access to alternative sources of grant funding. The Foundation is proud of the commitment and investment it has made for more than 40 years advancing radiology research and education.

Collectively, the Foundation will fund 12 Research Scholars, eight Research Seed Grants, 28 Research Fellows/Residents, 30 Research Medical Students and three Education projects from 54 North American institutions and one international institution.

“As I begin my term as chair of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, I’m thrilled we were able to award such a significant amount of funding to so many forward-thinking researchers. Through the generosity of our donors and the time and expertise of our volunteers, the Foundation continues to support the future of radiology through innovative research and education. Please be a part of our next chapter by contributing funds or sharing your time and talent as a volunteer.” Pamela Woodard, MD, Chair, R&E Foundation Board of Trustees
