Celebrating over 20 Years of Impact: Visionaries in Practice (VIP) Giving Program Hits Major Milestone

This year marks a major milestone: over 20 years of impact through the Visionaries in Practice (VIP) Giving Program, an innovative initiative that continues to shape the future of radiology. Since its inception, more than 75 private practice groups and academic institutions have united behind a common goal —to fuel clinically significant research that advances our specialty and improves patient care.

Together, these groups have contributed over $7 million to support groundbreaking radiology research. But the ripple effect has been even more extraordinary. With a $60:1 return on investment, that $7 million has catalyzed more than $420 million in additional research funding as R&E grant recipients to date have gone on to receive funds from external sources. This research funds innovations that impact everything from diagnostic accuracy to treatment outcomes—research that truly makes a difference in the reading room and at the bedside.

None of this success would be possible without the dedication and generosity of our donors. To every practice that has contributed, thank you! Your commitment is not only driving scientific discoveries but also inspiring a culture of giving within our profession.
