RSNA 2021 Registration Open

Registration is open for the RSNA 107th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, the world’s largest annual radiology forum, to be held at McCormick Place Chicago, Nov. 28 – Dec. 2, 2021.

RSNA 2021: Redefining Radiology will showcase new ideas and technologies that redefine what it means to work as a radiologist. With more than 2,000 presenters and more than 300 live educational courses, the meeting promises to deliver an outstanding program with a multitude of science, education and CME opportunities for radiology professionals from around the world. 

We have recently updated our health and safety protocols for the meeting. RSNA will require proof of vaccination from all meeting attendees and exhibitor personnel prior to the meeting or upon admittance to McCormick Place. In addition, face masks will be required in all public indoor spaces. Additional details, including instructions for the verification process, will be provided in the coming weeks.

RSNA’s virtual meeting component will allow unvaccinated individuals to participate in the meeting remotely—with 100% of eligible meeting programming available on-demand through April 30, 2022.

RSNA 2021: Redefining Radiology will showcase new ideas and technologies that redefine what it means to work as a radiologist. With more than 2,000 presenters and more than 300 live educational courses, the meeting promises to deliver an outstanding program with a multitude of science, education and CME opportunities for radiology professionals from around the world. Popular features like the Image Interpretation Session and Case of the Day will offer dynamic experiences for attendees. Also returning is the rapid-fire “Fast 5”—brisk and engaging presentations on how medical insight and research are driving the future of radiology. The Discovery Theater returns in 2021 with lively presentations and entertainment.

 

As the world’s largest medical imaging conference, RSNA 2021 also provides the ultimate show floor for demonstrating the latest medical imaging technologies in CT, MRI, artificial intelligence (AI), 3D printing, and more. The technical exhibition will once again feature the expansive AI Showcase and Theater, as well as the 3D Printing and Mixed Reality Showcase, the First-time Exhibitor Pavilion, Educators Row and Recruiters Row.  

 

RSNA 2021’s Virtual Meeting will allow those who have been impacted by institutional, corporate or national travel restrictions the opportunity to participate in the meeting.

Clinical Trials Methodology Workshop

Over the course of the six-day Clinical Trials Methodology Workshop (CTMW), participants will learn how to develop protocols for the clinical evaluation of imaging modalities. Each trainee will be expected to develop a protocol for a clinical study, ready to include in an application for external funding.

 

Topics to be featured include:

  • Principles of Radiology Study Design
  • Review of Statistical Concepts for Radiology
  • Taxonomy of Imaging Trials
  • Introduction to Cost Effectiveness Analysis
  • FDA Regulation of Imaging Modalities
  • Multi-Reader, Multi-Modality Studies

 

Applicants will undergo a competitive selection process. Familiarity with basic concepts and techniques of statistics and study design is required of all applicants. Successful applicants will participate in advance preparation, didactic sessions, one-on-one mentoring, small-group discussion sessions, self-study and individual protocol development.

 

There are no fees associated with this workshop and participants are responsible for all travel expenses and hotel accommodations.
