    Making a Difference: from Grant Recipient to Research Mentor
     

    Today’s newest scientific investigators are finding strong support from previous R&E grant recipients. The process starts when a hopeful grant applicant enlists help from an experienced advisor to formulate a primary scientific question for research and then develop methodology to test the hypothesis. For grant recipients, these relationship can significantly enhance their studies; for mentors, it’s an opportunity to honor their own mentors and give back to the radiology community.
