  • Advanced Course in Grant Writing

  • Get hands-on assistance in preparing a grant application to the NIH, NSF, or other funding institution. Led by a faculty member with expertise in preparing and submitting grants, this course provides insight into the entire grant preparation process, including personalized review of each grant proposal. After four sessions, participants will leave armed with a ready-to-submit grant proposal as a Principal Investigator.

    Participants must possess an MD or PhD and be a junior faculty member in a radiology, radiation oncology, or nuclear medicine program with no prior federal funding as a Principal Investigator.

    The program takes place over a nine-month period and is based at RSNA Headquarters, Oak Brook, Illinois. RSNA provides two nights of hotel accommodations per two-day session, plus daytime meals during the workshop. Accepted participants are responsible for travel expenses for each session. There is no separate fee for this course.
