    The RSNA/American College of Radiology (ACR) patient information website RadiologyInfo.org, which provides current and accurate information about radiologic imaging exams and treatments, has launched an app for tablet devices and iPhones.

    The app, Patient Safety in Imaging, includes more than 30 articles and 18 video presentations that address safety in a variety of settings, from screening examinations and airport scanners to radiation therapy.  The image-rich content also links to mobile-optimized content on RadiologyInfo.org and many more patient resources. Additional content will be added to the app in 2013.
