What role can radiologists play in responding to a radiation terrorism event? To help answer that question, Michael E. Robbins, Ph.D., coordinated eight lectures featuring the work of world-renowned radiation biologists, physicists and oncologists. Dr. Robbins' work was funded by a Radiology Education Research Development Grant from the RSNA Research & Education (R&E) Foundation, Association of University Radiologists, Association of Program Directors in Radiology and Society of Chairs of Academic Radiology Departments. Radiologists at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center show off their best "geek wear" in this video about the renovation of the hospital's filmless reading room. Following the tradition of Bravo television's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," one doctor focused on sound, while others each tackled furniture, lighting, ventilation and technology.
