How I Do It

"How I Do It" articles focus on an approach to a procedure or to an important clinical problem. These manuscripts should review the available information and describe the authors' personal approach, including details on technique and analysis. A discussion of pitfalls and helpful hints is useful in these reviews. These should include a list of three to five "Essentials" (see Review for Residents). Maximums: one paragraph abstract, 200 words; word count from Introduction to conclusion, 6500 words; number of references, 100; number of figure parts, 24; number of tables, four.
