Intralobar sequestration in a 44-year-old woman who experienced two episodes of pneumonia in the left lower lobe during a 6-month period. Panel A Posteroanterior chest radiograph shows a consolidation in the left lower lobe. Panel B Collimated posteroanterior and lateral Panel C chest radiographs obtained 3 months later show a persistentabnormal opacity (Arrows in ) in the left lower lobe. Photograph of the cut surface of the resected lobe shows cystic and bronchiectatic changes within the sequestered lung (Arrowheads in Panel D). Note the adjacentnormal lung parenchyma (Arrow).
