Intralober sequestration. Photograph of the cut surface of a resected lower lobe demonstrates an intralobar sequestration complicated by abscess formation. A large cystic area that represented the lung abscess is bordered by consolidated lung tissue with bronchiectasis (Arrow). Normal lung tissue partially surronds the cavity.
