Intralobar sequestration in a 20-year-old man with recurrent pneumonia in the left lower lobe. Panel A Contrast-enhanced chest CT scan (mediastinal window) demonstrates an intralobar sequestration of heterogeneous attenuation with mild enhancement of tissue septa that separate cystlike structures within the lesion. Panel B Coronal spin-echo MR image (1,071/11) reveals a linear structure with signal void (Arrow in ) arising from the descending thoracic aorta; this structure represents the vascular supply to the left lower lobe intralobar sequestration. Consolidation of the left lower lobe is also demonstrated.
