Figure 15: Angiomyolipoma with hemorrhage in a patient with known tuberous sclerosis. Panel A Axial CT scan shows huge bilateral heterogeneous masses of predominantly fat attenuation. Panel B Axial CT scan obtained slightly inferior to a shows an area of high attenuation (arrows) suggestive of hemorrhage. Panel C Photograph of the gross specimen shows at least three separate lesions (straight arrows) and hemorrhage (curved arrow). Panel D Axial unenhanced CT scan of the brain shows numerous calcified subependymal nodules.
