Figure 37: VATS for diagnosis of MPM. Panel A Photograph obtained during a VATS procedure shows an early mesothelioma. The lesion has the appearance of pleural inflammation, and multiple biopsy samples were required for diagnosis. Panel B Photograph obtained during a VATS procedure shows large tumor nodules arising from the parietal pleura.
