Panel A Contrast-enhanced CT scan (mediastinal window) obtained at the level of the aorticopulmonary window depicts circumferential spread of tumor in the right hemithorax with anterior chest wall invasion and rib destruction (arrows). Nodes (n) are identifiable in the paratracheal region but are difficult to distinguish from the invading tumor. The superior vena cava (*) is compressed. Panel B Contrast-enhanced CT scan (mediastinal window) at the level of the carina and left main pulmonary artery shows loculated fluid collections and an engulfed calcified plaque (arrow) in the posterior right hemithorax.
