Contraction of the hemithorax in a 73-year-old man with weight loss and decreased exercise tolerance. Unenhanced CT scan (mediastinal window) shows circumferential, nodular pleural thickening. MPM was diagnosed from the pleural biopsy specimen. Despite the relatively small tumor bulk, there is significant contraction of the right hemithorax.
