Figure 12: Diaphragmatic invasion in a 55-year-old man with MPM. Photograph of an autopsy cut specimen of the lungs demonstrates the tumor involving the right parietal and visceral pleura with extension into the fissures and completely encasing the lung. The bulk of the tumor is in the inferior portion of the right hemithorax, invading and encasing the hemidiaphragm.
