Figure 19: Giant hemangioma in a 46-year-old woman who presented with a 3-month history of right upper quadrant pain and weight loss. T2-weighted MR image (2,950/120) shows a large mass in the right lobe of the liver that has homogeneous high signal intensity, similar to that of cerebrospinal fluid. A band of low signal intensity representing fibrosis courses horizontally through the mass.
