Immense extracranial teratoma, attached to the calvaria and containing a mixture of mature and immature elements, in a newborn girl. Contrast-enhanced CT scans with routine Panel A and wide Panel B windows show that the mass is larger than the patient's head. The lesion is multiloculated, with enhancement of the innumerable tissue septa. There is deformity and remodeling of the adjacent calvaria, several areas of waterlike attenuation, and a few foci of even lower attenuation, within the range of either fat or sebaceous lipid.
