Immature cervical teratoma with neuroblastic elements in a newborn girl. Panel A Obstetric sonogram shows a large, heterogeneous, and irregularly echogenic mass. Multiple hyperechoic foci are present but without acoustic shadowing. Panel B Postnatal radiograph shows the large, anterior soft-tissue mass with numerous, irregular, curvilinear calcifications. Panel C Axial CT scan helps confirm the radiographic findings of calcification. The mass is markedly heterogeneous, with a few foci of fatty attenuation. Panel D Axial CT scan through the upper thorax at the level of the thymus shows the mass extending into the upper mediastinum.
