Figure 12: Massive orbital teratoma in a newborn girl. Panel A Lateral digital radiograph shows a mass that is about the same size as the face (about one-third of the volume of the calvarial vault). (B and C) Axial CT scans obtained with routine Panel B and wide Panel C windows demonstrate a multiloculated, heterogeneous mass that largely replaces the left orbit. The mass contains both teeth and bone elements with extensive mineralization, in addition to areas of fatty and waterlike attenuation.
