Panel A Contrast-enhanced CT scan of the pelvis shows asymmetric, circumferential thickening of the rectal wall. The thickened wall is more prominent on the left side. Panel B Colonoscopic photograph of the lesion shows circumferential involvement of the rectum by the multilobulated mass. L = lumen. Panel C Photomicrograph (original magnification, X2.5; H-E stain) shows a high-grade lymphoma (L) within the submucosa.
