Figure 14: Primary esophageal lymphoma in a 30-year-old man with AIDS who presented with dysphagia. Panel A Double-contrast esophagogram shows a large mass with an irregular, ulcerated surface that circumferentially involves the proximal thoracic esophagus (straight arrows). A large fistula (curved arrow) between the mass and the trachea is seen, a finding suggestive of a highly aggressive tumor. Panel B Gross specimen shows a necrotic tumor (N) within the esophagus and the trachea (T) that is exposed through a large fistula.
