Figure 14:
Angiomatosis in a 16-year-old boy who presented with swelling in the groin. Panel A Pelvic radiograph shows multifocal lytic lesions (arrows) with some sclerosis about the left femur. Panel B CT scan shows multiple, lytic, osseous lesions in the spine (arrows) and masses of fluid attenuation in the paraaortic region (arrowheads). The fluid collections about the vessels extended superiorly (not shown) to the entrance of the main lymphatic duct into the left subclavian vein. Pathologically, this process represented predominantly lymphangiomatosis.
