Figure 1: Panel A and Panel B Mixed-component hemangioma. Photomicrographs (original magnification, approximately X200; hematoxylin-eosin stain) show large, dilated blood-filled cavernous spaces (*); small capillary-like vessels (arrowheads); and larger, thicker-walled vessels suggestive of arteries or veins (arrows in B). The predominant histologic component in both lesions was cavernous.
