Cystic dysplasia of the upper pole moiety of a duplicated renal collecting system, associated with an obstructed prolapsing ectopic ureterocele, in a 9-month-old girl with a history of urinary tract infection. Physical examination revealed a fluctuant vaginal mass. Panel A Sagittal sonogram of the right kidney shows multiple cysts without normal upper pole parenchyma. Panel B Photograph of the vagina shows a mass (arrow) protruding into the introitus vaginae through the urethra. Panel C Transillumination of the mass reveals its cystic nature.
