Panel A Transverse sonogram of the right kidney mass shows a complex renal mass with a multilocular cystic component, but nodular solid elements are also present (arrow). Panel B Contrast-enhanced CT scan demonstrates the solid components (arrows) on the periphery of the predominantly cystic tumor. An enhancing pseudocapsule of compressed renal parenchyma is evident (arrowhead). Panel C Bivalved specimen reveals a friable necrotic tumor with multiple cystic spaces filled with hemorrhage (arrow).
