Cystic nephroma in a 16-month-old girl with a large asymptomatic abdominal mass. Panel A Transverse sonogram shows a multilocular cystic mass projecting from the left kidney. A crescent of uninvolved renal parenchyma is seen (arrows). Panel B Axial gadolinium-enhanced T1-weighted (600/15) MR image demonstrates enhancing septa and low-signal-intensity loculi. Panel C Axial T2-weighted (4,000/102) MR image obtained at the same level as b shows high-signal-intensity cyst loculi divided by hypointense septa. Panel D Gross specimen demonstrates the huge multicystic mass arising exophytically from the left kidney.
