Panel A Frontal chest radiograph collimated to the hila in a 23-year-old man with sarcoidosis demonstrates unilateral left hilar lymphadenopathy. Panel B PA chest radiograph of an asymptomatic 25-year-old man with sarcoidosis demonstrates bilateral but asymmetric hilar lymphadenopathy. Note the bulky nodular enlargement of the right hilar nodes. These are the so-called potato nodes of sarcoidosis.
