Note the pleural thickening (arrow) adjacent to the mycetomas in the right upper lobe. Panel B Cut surface of the autopsy specimen of an upper lobe from the same patient demonstrates large mycetomas (M) filling cystic spaces. Note the smaller "empty" subpleural cysts.
